An intensive, targeted prep program designed to maximize ACT math scores. Students gain confidence in the concepts that matter most — with strategies built specifically for the structure and timing of the ACT.

This is not a generic test-prep course. Every session is focused, efficient, and grounded in the math students are actually tested on.

Teachers will examine ways in which the language of instruction and feedback can have a significant positive or negative impact on students' mindsets toward mathematical learning.
Academic Feedback that Matters
Participants will consider how to deliver accurate, motivating, and actionable feedback to students, as well as teach students to give meaningful feedback to one another.
Clarity + Connections = Competence
Teachers will examine grade-band specific topics and reflect on ways to clarify and connect concepts to build greater student mathematical understanding.

About

20+ years shaping math education

Dr. Michael Pigg began his career teaching secondary math at Carter High School, where he served on the Leadership Team and chaired multiple committees. He then served for 10 years as a building-level principal in Wilson County Schools and the Lebanon Special School District, most recently as principal of Castle Heights Elementary.

Today, Dr. Pigg is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee. With over 20 years of experience working with students, teachers, and administrators, Michael has developed a passion for supporting dynamic mathematics instruction and learning at all levels of education.

As a highly effective instructor with experience teaching in the middle school, high school, and university settings, Michael is deeply knowledgeable about instructional routines that motivate and engage students in the math classroom.
